Bitcoin Cash II (BCH2) is a SHA-256 proof-of-work cryptocurrency that forked from BC2 (BitcoinII) at block height 53,200, adopting Bitcoin Cash consensus rules. BCH2 inherits BC2's complete transaction history through block 53,200 while upgrading to 32MB blocks, the ASERT difficulty adjustment algorithm, CashAddr addressing, Schnorr signatures, native introspection opcodes, and the full suite of Bitcoin Cash protocol improvements through Upgrade 11 (ABLA).

BCH2 was distributed 1:1 to all BC2 holders at the fork block, with no premine, no developer fee, and no ICO. All new coins enter circulation through mining only, following Bitcoin's original halving schedule with a 21-million-coin supply cap and a current block reward of 50 BCH2.

BCH2 uses ASERT with a 1-hour half-life at launch for difficulty stability on a new network, transitioning automatically to the standard 2-day half-life at block 92,736. SIGHASH_FORKID provides full replay protection between BCH2 and BC2. The codebase is built on BitcoinII Core v27.1 and is open source under the MIT license.
